In 1996, Terri Peterson and Dawn Jones started AccuPro Professional Services, Inc. Terri is a former hospital Health Information Services Director and Dawn is a former hospital Radiology Department Director. They were familiar with the client side of the medical transcription business and knew how difficult it was to find a quality service. This served as the motivation behind starting their own service and AccuPro was born!
The philosophy of AccuPro Professional Services is to offer our clients a quality product at a fair price. Terri and Dawn are intimately involved in the day to day operation of their business and believe it is important that each client be assigned an account manager so they have a real person to help them deal with any issues or concerns. There are at least two transcriptionists trained on every account so there is coverage for any vacations or illness. They also believe it is important that the same primary transcriptionist(s) work on each account to offer continuity and satisfaction for client staff and physicians. The result of this philosophy is that every client has their own personal transcriptionist.
Terri and Dawn also feel that it is vital to hire and retain quality US-based transcriptionists and we pride ourselves in the fact that we still have many transcriptionists working with us today that started with us back in the early years.
